Orally Disintegrating Tramadol

Available only with a prescription, orally disintegrating tramadol is a drug used to treat pain in adults. It comes in the form of a rapidly dissolving tablet and is usually taken two to four times a day. Some of the most commonly reported side effects include constipation, dizziness, and nausea. It should be noted that this drug has a high potential for abuse.

What Is Orally Disintegrating Tramadol?

Orally disintegrating tramadol (Rybix™ ODT) is a prescription pain medication approved for treating moderate-to-moderately severe pain in adults. It comes in the form of a tablet that dissolves rapidly on the tongue, without any need for water.

Are There Side Effects?

Just like any medicine, orally disintegrating tramadol can cause side effects.
 However, not everyone who takes the drug will experience problems. Some people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider. Serious reactions are less common.
