Injectable Forms of Morphine Sulfate

There are a variety of different injectable morphine sulfate products available. Such products include:
 
  • Short-acting, preservative-free morphine sulfate for use intravenously or for epidural or intrathecal administration:

 

    • Astramorph/PF™
    • Duramorph®
    • Infumorph® 

 

  • Short-acting morphine sulfate for injection into a muscle
  • Long-acting form used as a single-dose for pain after a surgery for epidural administration (DepoDur®).
