Methocarbamol 500 mg Tablets

Methocarbamol (Robaxin®) is a prescription drug used to treat muscle spasms. The medicine comes in the form of a tablet and an injection. The 750-mg tablets are available in both brand-name and generic forms, but brand-name methocarbamol is not available as 500-mg tablets. The tablets are approved for people who are at least 16 years old.
Regardless of which strength you use, the tablets are typically taken three or four times a day, depending on the dosage your healthcare provider recommends. After the first two or three days of treatment, the dose is typically reduced.
