Back Pain Home > Roxicet

Storage Information

Roxicet should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Keep this and all other medications out of the reach of children. Because Roxicet is a highly desired drug of abuse, make sure to keep it in a safe place.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

Roxicet is often prescribed "as needed," which means you do not need to take a dose if you do not feel pain. If you forget to take a dose and notice significant pain, take your missed dose right away. However, make sure to wait the recommended time before the next dose.

Strengths

Roxicet tablets are available in the following strengths:

  • Roxicet 5/325 mg tablets -- 5 mg of oxycodone hydrochloride and 325 mg of acetaminophen
  • Roxicet 5/500 mg caplets -- 5 mg of oxycodone hydrochloride and 500 mg of acetaminophen
  • Roxicet oral solution -- 5 mg of oxycodone hydrochloride and 325 mg of acetaminophen per 5 mL (per teaspoonful).

Generic Roxicet

Roxicet 5/500 mg caplets and oral solution are not available in generic form. Roxicet 5/325 mg tablets are actually a generic version of Percocet (see Generic Roxicet).
