Were you looking for information about Kadian? Cadien is a common misspelling of Kadian.

Kadian® (morphine sulfate ER) is a pain-relieving medication that is available by prescription only. It is a type of narcotic that provides around-the-clock relief for moderate to severe chronic pain. Kadian capsules are filled with tiny extended-release pellets (containing morphine) that are designed to release morphine evenly throughout the day. The drug is a controlled substance that has the potential to be abused. If you have a history of alcohol or drug dependence, let your healthcare provider know before using this medication.

(Click Kadian for more information on how Kadian works, when and how to take the medication, and what you should be aware of before starting treatment. You can also click on the various links in the box to the right to access specific topics on Kadian.)
