Were you looking for information on Flexeril? Flexril is a common misspelling of Flexeril.
Flexeril® can be prescribed to adults and adolescents (age 15 and older) who have muscle spasms due to injuries, overuse, or similar problems. The drug is effective in relieving pain, tenderness, and stiffness due to spasms. However, it is not helpful for muscle spasms that are due to problems in the brain or spinal cord, such as cerebral palsy.
Off-label uses for Flexeril include treating pain associated with fibromyalgia and helping people sleep. Because the medicine is not suitable for everyone, tell your healthcare provider about any medical conditions you have and about any other medications you are taking.
