Flexeril Use in Children

Flexeril is not approved to treat muscle spasms in children younger than 15 years old. Talk with your healthcare provider about the benefits and risks of using Flexeril in children.
 

Off-Label Flexeril Uses

On occasion, your healthcare provider may recommend Flexeril for something other than the conditions discussed in this article. Sometimes, Flexeril is used off-label to help relieve fibromyalgia pain. Occasionally, Flexeril is also used off-label to help people sleep, although this is not a widely accepted practice.
