tizanidine hydrochloride) is a short-acting medication that can help treat spasticity. It is usually taken as needed (up to three times daily), and should be reserved for the times of day when spasticity control is most important. It comes in the form of a tablet or a capsule, and is available both in brand-name and generic forms.
