Your healthcare provider may prescribe Darvon-N® (propoxyphene napsylate) if you have mild-to-moderate pain. This prescription medication comes in the form of a tablet and is taken every four hours as needed for pain relief. Although most people tolerate it well, side effects are possible, and can include dizziness, drowsiness, or nausea.
Before starting treatment, it's important to review the safety information for Darvon-N. This medication may not be suitable for everyone, so make sure your healthcare provider is aware if you have any other medical conditions, such as depression or a history of drug or alcohol abuse, or are taking any other type of medicines, including nonprescription medications, herbal supplements, or vitamins.
