Drug Interactions With Acetaminophen With CodeineAntipsychotics, antidepressants, and other narcotics or opiates are some of the medications that may cause drug interactions with acetaminophen with codeine. These drug interactions can increase your risk for developing serious side effects, such as memory loss, extreme drowsiness, or difficulty breathing. To help prevent acetaminophen with codeine interactions, tell your healthcare provider about all other medications you are taking before using the pain reliever.
